What it is

Health care is a human right. That’s why New York City guarantees health care for all New Yorkers – and that includes mental health care.

NYC Care is a health access program at NYC Health + Hospitals. As a NYC Care member, you can access your primary care provider at a care site near you.

You’ll also have access to a full suite of healthcare, including comprehensive mental health support at low- or no-cost.

There are NYC Care locations in all 5 boroughs.

You may be eligible for NYC Care if:

  • You’re age 18 or older
  • You can’t afford or are ineligible for health insurance
